How Consent is Obtained

Explicit Agreement: Babysitters verbally agree and provide their phone number specifically for this purpose.

Phone Number Collection: The parent adds the babysitter's phone number to their private Babysitter Booker account.

First Message Confirmation: The first SMS message includes instructions on how to opt out at any time.

What Messages You'll Receive

Babysitters who have consented will receive SMS messages only when:

•A parent creates a booking request for a specific date and time
•You are next in the priority list and previous babysitters have declined

Message frequency: Varies based on parent usage. Typically 1-4 messages per month. You will never receive spam or marketing messages.

You can respond with: YES, ACCEPT, NO, or DECLINE

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time using any of these methods:

Reply with "STOP" to any message to immediately unsubscribe

Method 2: Contact the Parent

Tell the parent directly that you'd like to be removed from their list

Privacy & Data Protection

•Only the parent who added you can see your contact information

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Babysitter Booker does not charge any fees for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for incoming and outgoing text messages according to your plan.
